The Consumer Product Safety Commission <a href=\"https:\/\/www.cpsc.gov\/safety-education\/safety-guides\/pools-and-spas\/safety-barrier-guidelines-home-pools\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">recommends a four-sided isolation fence<\/a> at least four feet high that completely separates the pool from the house and yard. During any pool gathering, designate one adult as the &#8220;water watcher&#8221; whose only job is watching the pool. The <a href=\"https:\/\/www.redcross.org\/take-a-class\/cpr\/cpr-training\/cpr-classes\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">American Red Cross<\/a> and the <a href=\"https:\/\/cpr.heart.org\/\" target=\"_blank\" rel=\"noreferrer noopener\">American Heart Association<\/a> both offer in-person and online certification courses.
